About the Comic

I guess it's up to me now to answer any nagging questions before they arise and explain a few things. First and foremost: you have to understand that I'm writing this comic using events and character traits from my own life. Anyone who is close to me can probably immediately see the similarities. To others, it obviously isn't so clear.

So is Ran gay, or am I hallucinating?
Any boylove fans are going to be disappointed. No, Ran is not gay. The incident where Render changes his appearance to look like Ariól is the only suggestion of any kind of male/male contact for the entire comic. That event is based off of an experience in my life. I was pretty lonely as a kid, and I had only one friend, my best friend. It's pretty obvious now that I was in love with her. If you asked me then, I'd deny it. But she was what made me happy. Ariól is the same way to Ran. He's the only thing that keeps Ran from going insane while the two are together, but Ariól's former presence will ultimately lead Ran down the path to squirrel-shit crazy.
But Ran and I are different in this aspect: he is neither gay nor bisexual. In fact, sex is the very last thing that he cares about, so he's probably more like an asexual person than anything. So NO, there will not be any more gay stuff.

This comic is vaguely based off of my life. If my shitty life were multiplied, in shittiness, by about... three... my life would be Ran's. Bat-shit crazy with a head-voice and schizo. Whoo. Did I mention he's a schizo? Yeah. He's a schizo.
The parents ignoring Ran happened to me... the constant seeking of attention is ME, though it wasn't quite so blatant in the comic. I might actually have a personality disorder because my parents ignored me all the time. I don't really care now, though, heh.
Anyhow, my point: Ran is me.

So if this is based off of you, then why aren't Ran and Render female...?
I'm a pervert deviant, plain and simple. They're not gay, no, but that doesn't restrict me from drawing them gay. HURR.
Just as a note: Ran and Render would never, EVER, under no circumstances, have sex. Which is EXACTLY why it's so appealing, ISN'T IT?!

What's up with Troy? Why is he such a dick, and why does he single out Ran?
I noticed, in the comments somewhere along the line, that someone thought that Troy was jealous of Ran and Ariól. This isn't true because Troy is just an asshole. He feels nothing toward either of those boys besides hatred. He has blind, biased hatred for them because they are particularly close, and he (like any blind idiot) believes that they are gay. That's why he singles them out. Troy is not a very in-depth kind of guy. He's a moron scumbag, no more.

I answered, "Ah, yeah... my friend asked the same question. Okay, so basically, he doesn't really have eyes. They're more like holes in his head that are tiny windows into his mind. I know that sounds cheesy, but there's no better way to put it. It's like someone took a hot iron and burned the shapes of eyes out of his head. That's why the skin around them is black and dead. The eyes themselves are always white. They tint different colors depending on his mood. Neutral usually means light blue. If you stuck your finger in one of his eyes, you could poke right through without feeling anything and have your finger inside his head. That wouldn't be pleasant for him, though XD"

How do you make that "ó"?
I want to just throw this out there: hold down ALT then type 162 and release ALT. Ta-da. ;3
